Updates to the College Licensing Program for MerchandiseContributed by Rachel Reuben on 12/08/11 As the College's licensing and trademark enforcement program continues to evolve, the Office of Marketing Communications has made a few changes to further refine and strengthen the brand. The program was established in July to protect Ithaca College's name, reputation and identity. It requires that both on-campus and off-campus organizations gain approval through the licensing program in order to use the College's name, logos, nickname, and other protected terms (Ithaca College, IC, Bomber(s), Bomber nation, Ithaca [club/organization name/1892]) on any product. As a reminder, merchandise includes any products that vendors create (apparel, mugs, pens, etc.) whether they are distributed internally, sold internally by on-campus organizations, or sold by external retailers or vendors. Colors: Fonts: More licensing information sessions will be scheduled throughout the spring. To learn more about the licensing program, visit ithaca.edu/marcom/licensing, or contact Rachel Reuben, associate vice president for marketing communications at rreuben@ithaca.edu or 274-3830. |
