Giving Feedback on Student Oral Presentations Using a Video Annotation Tool. Dec 14, 11 amContributed by Marilyn Dispensa on 12/09/11 Scott Thomson, of Communication Studies, is the guest host of the next Faculty Show and Share on Wed, December 14th, at 11:00 am - noon in the CET (Job 102). Students are video recorded as they practice their presentations. The student uploads their video into Sakai and the instructor uses a video annotation tool, VideoANT to add comments at specific points in the timeline. Students can easily review these comments on their own time. Registration is appreciated but not required since it is a small space. The Center for Educational Technology presents a new discussion series called "Faculty Show and Share." Each session features a guest faculty member who shows how they use a technology to address a teaching goal. Come hear what worked - or didn't work in a format that is informal, experimental, and fun. Discussion is encouraged and anyone is welcomed regardless of their experience with technology. Check out the Fall 2011 Events below. Space is limited so please register at the Instructional Support Services web site or by clicking the links below. Any students are welcome as well.
