You’re in luck! There are still  spaces available for ALL of the 2012 Alternative Spring Break program trips!

In addition, some programs are in need of students that 21 years of age, and qualified to assist with driving Ithaca College vehicles to and from each location. Keep in mind that student drivers can receive a discount on the cost of the program for participating!

Students interested in applying for the Alternative Spring Break experience are strongly encouraged to visit the ASB Page on the www.ithaca.edu website for all pertinent information, as well as the ASB application. There are currently five Alternative Spring Break locations, including:

Pensacola, FL

Beckley, WV

Washington, DC

Joplin, MO

Salamanca, NY

 

The new deadline for applications will be on Friday, December 23, at 5:00pm. Applications will be reviewed immediately after the New Year, and students will be notified by Friday, January 6, 2012. All students who applied during the first round of selections, but did not receive acceptance notifications, are strongly encouraged to resubmit an application before the deadline!

Alternative Spring Break is a departmental program sponsored by the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs that provides service opportunities for students who successfully apply for participation at a variety of sites across the eastern United States
