If Shakespeare Could See Me Now

Contributed by Greg Bostwick on 05/06/12

The students of the Styles of Acting I class have re-imagined several Elizabethan scenes for the 21st century and will perform them on Thursday, May 10, 2012.  B.F.A. acting students and musical theater performers cordially invite you to accompany them on their journey of innovation and adaptation.

Imagine this: As You Like It in a fraternity house. Taming of the Shrew at a wedding rehearsal dinner. Twelfth Night at a dance club. Henry IV in a country bar.  Enjoy all these scenes, and more, absolutely free of charge.

We guarantee that you will see Shakespeare as you have never seen him before. Mark Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. on your calendar and come to the Clark Theater of Dillingham Center.  The program should last about one hour.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Greg Bostwick at gbostwick@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3345. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
