Buzzsaw Magazine, Ithaca College’s premier alternative magazine, is excited to be back for another semester. We’re looking for journalists, writers, photographers, illustrators, essayists, bloggers, layout artists, poets, and a million other synonyms for “awesomely creative people” to fill our staff for the spring semester.

Our Spring Rush Night will be held on Wednesday, January 25 at 8:30pm in Williams 323. If you’ve never worked for Buzzsaw, come check us out. We’ll set you up with an article or a piece of art or show you the ropes of producing a monthly magazine. Anyone who thinks they may want to contribute in any way to the magazine this year should come and learn more. We’re a flexible, dynamic magazine, and we want to be a place for your journalistic or creative expression, whatever that entails.

Don’t forget about opportunities to get involved with Buzzsaw’s documentary arm, Seesaw, which produces mini-documentaries throughout the year, including these awesome projects.

Buzzsaw is an award-winning magazine with an all-star network of alumni, including former editors who have gone on to work for Mother Jones, Self, GQ, Out, Time Out New York, The San Francisco Chronicle and The New Yorker, and one alum, Jeremy Levine, who won an Emmy this year for his Transient Pictures documentary Walking the Line.

Check out Buzzsaw’s recently revamped website at buzzsawmag.org, find us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and roll around with us on Tumblr. Email any questions or concerns to buzzsawmag@gmail.com.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Adam Polaski at apolask1@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
