Two members of the Class of 2011, Jackie Harpham, ATC and Elyse Putorti, ATC and faculty member, Professor Kent Scriber, EdD, ATC, PT recently presented their research findings at the 2011 EATA Annual Meeting in Boston, MA. 

Two members of the Class of 2011, Jackie Harpham, ATC and Elyse Putorti, ATC and faculty member, Professor Kent Scriber, EdD, ATC, PT recently presented their research findings at the 2011 EATA Annual Meeting in Boston, MA. Attended by almost 1,400 professionals and students, the research component of the program included 4 oral and 30 poster presentations that were accepted after a rigorous peer review process. Ms. Harpham, now a first year graduate student at The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and her clinical instructor, Chris Hummel, MS, ATC, Clinical Associate Professor presented a case study on a complex foot injury in a collegiate football player, while Ms. Putorti, now an orthopedic patient navigator at Cayuga Medical Center, and her Clinical Instructor, Courtney Gray, MS, ATC, Clinical Assistant Professor presented a case study involving an idiopathic long thoracic nerve injury in a collegiate basketball player. Dr. Scriber was a co-author on Department of Exercise & Sport Science student Olivia Jarem's poster presentation on collegiate athletes' knowledge of concussions, which was part of her master's thesis while at IC.
