"Dreaming of Timbuctoo" Exhibit and Panel Discussion with Professor Sean Eversley BradwellContributed by Eileen Patocka on 02/03/12 submitted on behalf of Professor Sean Eversley Bradwell In commemoration of African American History Month, The History Center in Tompkins County, Cornell University, and Ithaca College are partnering with John Brown Lives! (JBL!) to bring Dreaming of Timbuctoo to Ithaca, from February 4 to February 21—with an Opening Night on February 3, 5 to 8 pm. Dreaming of Timbuctoo is a traveling exhibition that delves into a little-known voting rights saga in pre-Civil War New York. Join Professor Sean Eversley Bradwell as he participates in a panel discussion featuring Cornell Prof. Margaret Washington and other members of the Cornell and Ithaca College community on Saturday, February 4 from 2 to 4 pm. at the History Center in Tompkins County.
