Need money during your summer internship? Two scholarships are available through Career Services!Contributed by Kristin LiBritz on 02/01/12 Students planning to complete an internship in the summer of 2012 may apply for a scholarship to help defray the costs of their summer internship. Applications for the Class of 2008 Scholarship for Experiential Learning and/or the Washington, D.C. Scholarship for Summer Internships are available in Career Services and are due on February 29. One of the application components for the scholarships requires either a letter from the internship host verifying arrangements or a list of the internships to which the student is actively applying at the time of the application deadline. Application forms are available online or in Career Services (101 Muller Center). Students are encouraged to get their resume critiqued in our office during our daily drop-ins (12:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.) before submitting it with the application. There will be one recipient selected for each scholarship. Note that the Class of 2008 Scholarship for Experiential Learning requires the student to be completing an unpaid internship. For more information on either scholarship, please contact Career Services. ~follow iccareers on Twitter & fan our Facebook Page~
