Applications Being Accepted for the Marc S. Wigler '87 Scholarship for LGBT StudentsContributed by Claudia Ayers on 02/02/12 The Marc S. Wigler '87 Scholarship for LGBT Students has been generously created by Marc S. Wigler, a graduate of the Roy H. Park School of Communications. This scholarship is for a student with academic promise and financial need who shows demonstrated service, leadership or achievement to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community. Preference will be given to a self-identified LGBT student. The next award will be made for the 2012-13 academic year. If you think you qualify, please submit your name, e-mail address, and a paragraph detailing your service, leadership or achievement to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community by Friday, March 16, to Lis Maurer at lmaurer@ithaca.edu. |
