Users of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard should be aware that there are confirmed problems with Apple's recent Security Update 2012-001. This update causes problems with older, Rosetta-based software. Rosetta applications may crash upon launch, crash when printing, or exhibit other problems. Some of the applications that are affected are:

Users are advised to not install this security update until these issues are resolved. If you are prompted to install Apple software updates, first click the Show Details button if necessary, then uncheck the box for Security Update 2012-001.
