Teacher Recruitment Days (TRD) will be held this year on March 26 and 27 at SUNY Cortland. Registration is open from Feb. 6-17 here and is on a first come, first served basis. In case you don't already know, TRD isn't your typical job fair; during this event districts from across the country send recruiters to conduct interviews for known and anticipated vacancies in the following areas:
Candidates from 13 Central New York colleges and universities are invited to attend TRD. Special participation guidelines are as follows: Graduate and undergraduate candidates who have a graduation date between Dec. '11 through Aug. '12 AND will be eligible for certification by September 2012 may register to attend TRD. There is a $10 non-refundable fee for attending TRD. The online application/registration for TRD is February 6-17. For more information and/or to register for TRD, candidates must visit: www.cnytrd.org.
