Wednesday February 8th at 8 pm in Friends 302 to find out what you can do to help us fight modern slavery! Did you know that there are currently slaves in every country of the world? 27 million slaves still exist in this day and age.
If this fact makes you angry, if you are interested in social justice, or if you just want a chance to make a difference, come to our first meeting this Wednesday at 8 pm in Friends to find out what we plan on doing this semester to make a change!
IC Free the Slaves is a collegiate chapter of the national non-profit group Free the Slaves, and we are passionate about spreading awareness and raising funds to end slavery. Visit freetheslaves.net for more information.
