Advocacy Center recruiter to talk about working on issues of domestic violence and sexual abuse during Making a Living While Making a Difference panelContributed by Kristin LiBritz on 02/09/12 The Advocacy Center is the local non-profit agency that provides free support and services to youth and adults in Tompkins County whose lives have been impacted by child sexual abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, or rape. A representative of the Advocacy Center will speak on the Making a Living While Making a Difference panel on February 22. Joined by representatives of City Year, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Rural Health Service Corps and the Secret Service, panelists will explain their agency's mission, their personal career path and career opportunies within their agency.
