Performance dates will be Sunday, Feb. 19, at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Monday, Feb, 20, at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. All performances will be presented in the Earl McCarroll Studio Theatre (Studio 2) in the Dillingham Center. To reserve tickets, patrons are asked to include their names, first and second performance choices including the date and time, their e-mails, phone numbers, and billing addresses. Only one ticket per patron is allowed. Tickets are accepted on a first-reply, first-reserve basis. There will be a wait list for tickets at the door of the Earl McCarroll Studio Theatre 30 minutes before each performance for all sold-out shows. All tickets that have not been picked up 15 minutes before the performance will be released to patrons on the wait list, so arriving early is advised. Sam Shepard’s “Fool for Love” takes place inside of a motel room surrounded by the Mojave Desert, where Shepard’s two “fools” collide after mutual abuse drove them apart. Eddie, a rough around the edges rodeo performer, once again attempts to win back May, his childhood sweetheart, with his tender words and tantalizing promises. May, a struggling yet strong-willed woman, battles against Eddie’s fantasies with her firm grasp on reality and unconvincing contentment with her new beau, Martin. All the while, the mysterious Old Man watches on as these characters continue their never ending game of love and destruction. The cast includes Emily Austin '13, Coleman Hemsath '15, Jordan Schultz '14, Eric Hagreen '12, Emily Viancourt '14 and Evan Arbour '15 Dillingham Center accommodates all patrons.
