I am pleased to announce that Kris Monroe is the recipient of the J.J. Staff Scholar Award for the spring 2012 semester.

Kris, who works for Information Technology Services (ITS), is a student in the Business Administration program with a concentration in Management.

When asked about career goals, Kris replied, " Prior to my predecessor's departure I had a long-term goal of becoming an Information Security Officer for an institution of higher
education and to perhaps teach information security. Little did I realize that I would be promoted to Information Security Officer prior to becoming matriculated in the Business School.
My goal now is to apply my continuing education towards becoming a better supervisor and leader at the college."
