The School of Business is proud to announce that Bill Nelligan ’83, will be speaking on Thursday, March 1, at 12:05 p.m. Textor 102, as part of their Distinguished Executive Lecture Series.  Mr. Nelligan's lecture, "Globalization, technology, innovation and leadership - a perspective on how to position oneself for your future," is sponsored by Tompkins Trust Company.

William Nelligan is a seasoned global executive with 25 years of experience in the information, technology, services and healthcare industries, and has led both mature and emerging markets in the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Africa and Japan.  Dynamic leadership, strategic vision, client focus and strong operational skills have yielded exceptional results throughout his career and distinguished his performance across a variety of cultures and organizations.

Initiated in 1999, The School of Business’ Distinguished Executive Lecture Series brings alumni and senior executives to campus to share real-world experiences and relevant and timely business topics with our students. Our speakers’ visits to campus usually involve an informal meeting with the business school’s student leaders, participation in select business classes, and a formal presentation to an audience of campus and community members.

Jake Tenenbaum, business administration major, said that, “the Distinguished Lecturer's Series has been so beneficial for the students of the School of Business. We have had the pleasure of hearing from professionals from all fields who have done incredible things. I cannot wait to come back to Ithaca College and present to the student body...that's how I know I will have made it!”
