Has your student career at Ithaca College been based on a perspective that bridges science and humanities?

Do you believe that sciences and humanities can and should be integrated? You may then be a candidate for the C. P. Snow Scholar Award! This award recognizes a student who has successfully combined scientific and humanistic studies at Ithaca College and could put $500. into your pocket!

The deadline to apply is Friday, March 9th.

Application Guidelines

Eligible applicants should have junior or senior standing, a minimum GPA of 3.0 (submit transcript) and demonstrate a record of interdisciplinary work within the humanities and sciences. Complete applications include:

  • Two letters of recommendation submitted from faculty
  • A three to five page essay (double-spaced) that discusses why you think the integration of the humanities and sciences is important and describes how you are achieving this through your academic program and/or your external activities.

All application materials below should be submitted by the deadline to the C. P. Snow Committee, c/o Prof. Janet Hunting, jhunting@ithaca.edu, CNS 357. (Electronic submissions are preferred).
