Bombers Traveling To Staten Island For NCAA Men's Basketball PlayoffsContributed by Michael Warwick on 02/27/12 The Ithaca College men's basketball team (14-13) will travel to the College of Staten Island to open the NCAA Championship Tournament. The Bombers, who won the Empire 8 title over the weekend, will face the host Dolphins (24-4), champions of the City University of New York Athletic Conference, in a regional semifinal Friday. The other semifinal will feature Rhode Island College (22-6) against Salem State (20-7) with the semifinal winners playing in Saturday's regional final with a berth in the "sweet 16" at stake. Ticket information and game times will be announced by Staten Island and the NCAA. |
