The Park Association for Journalists of Color celebrates Women's History Month with a discussion with
Kate Sheppard, reporter from the independent news organization Mother Jones and IC alumna.

She will be joined by Deen Freelon, professor of communications at American University.

A Question and Answer session will follow, so come ready with questions on anything from diversity and women in the media, the challenges of working for an independent media organization and how to prepare for a career in journalism.
