Did you know that in only one year you can get a master's degree in either Childhood or Adolescence Education and be certified to teach in New York State (which has reciprocity agreements with more than 30 other states and jurisdictions)? That's right, stay just one more year at IC and make a difference by becoming a teacher. But don't just take our word for it. Listen to what graduates of the program have to say: www.youtube.com/watch. For more information, contact Professor Linda Hanrahan, lhanrahan@ithaca.edu or at 274-3147, or stop by the Department of Education, Phillips Annex 194, between the Bookstore and the Career Services office. Let them know you saw this announcement in the Intercom Note: Subject areas in Adolescence Education (grades 7-12) include Biology, Chemistry, English, French, Math, Physics, Social Studies, and Spanish.
