School of Music Students Finish in Top of Standings at the Eastern Regional National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS)

The Eastern Region NATS Regional Conference was held Friday, March 2 – Sunday, March 4, 2012 at West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Six School of Music students placed in at the conference. 

School of Music student winner included:

Freshmen Men
1st   Eliodoro Castillo
2nd  Scott Irish-Bronkie
3rd   Torrance Gricks

Sophomore Women
1st   Jennifer Giustino
2nd   Elizabeth Cooney

Sophomore Men
1st   Brett Pond

The Eastern Region of NATS is made up of six Districts: Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Quebec, and West Virginia. We are a large and diverse region - and one of the largest in the Association - that offers many workshops and student auditions at the District and Chapter level. In addition, there is a Regional Conference and Student Auditions every other year.
