Gerontology Institute Caregiver Support Group to Explore Office for the Aging Resources on Friday, March 16Contributed by Paula Davis on 03/09/12 The Caregiver Support Group will meet Friday, March 16, from Noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Gerontology Resource Room (413 CHS). Ithaca College staff and faculty members who provide care to ill or frail individuals are welcome to join this informal support group to share the issues and concerns of caregiving. In addition to discussing individual challenges, attendees this month will also get to explore in depth the resources available through the Tompkins County Office for the Aging. Beverages and a sweet treat will be available; please feel free to bring your lunch. This group is co-sponsored by the Ithaca College Gerontology Institute and Office of Human Resources. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact the Gerontology Institute at 274-1965. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
