Are you a cancer survivor?

Contributed by Amanda Brzezowski on 03/15/12

Colleges Against Cancer is inviting anyone who has ever been diagnosed with cancer to attend Ithaca College's Relay For Life.

Relay is part of the American Cancer Society and is the biggest fundraiser in the world.  Relay is for everyone--faculty, staff, students, families, community members, cancer survivors, caregivers, people who have been lucky enough to never have been affected by cancer--ANYONE.
Survivors, please make our event more special by registering for the 2012 Relay For Life of Ithaca College which is being held on Saturday, March 31st from 4:00pm to 4:00am in the Hill Center Gym at IC.  There is no registration fee for survivors.  Please feel welcome to bring your friends and family to this event.  You can stay for the whole time or you can stay for  just a few hours at any point throughout the night.  Join us for a few laps around the track (walking--Relay is not a marathon event) or take a bigger part and share your inspiring story.
If you would like to take on a bigger role in the fight against cancer on campus, please don't hesitate to contact cacithaca@gmail.com today.
Register for Relay For Life in just a few minutes online at http://www.relayforlife.org/ithacacollege.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Kylene Planer, Chair of Survivorship, at cacithaca@gmail.com. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
