Individuals in our community, our friends and neighbors, are counting on our continued generosity.

You intended to contribute, but have not yet taken the opportunity.

Please contact me at sdietz@ithaca.edu at your earliest convenience. I will be happy to deliver a pledge card to anyone who did not receive one in our initial outreach or to replace the pledge card that has been misplaced.

If you prefer to donate through payroll deduction please complete the pledge card and return it to my attention: Sally Dietz, Budget Department, 1415 West Tower. Please be aware that your gift will be divided across the remaining payroll periods in this calendar year.  If you decide not to utilize the payroll deduction option and would rather donate immediately, please take advantage of this link to make your donation today:

The United Way campaign is coming to a close at month end. Volunteers across Tompkins County are working feverishly to reach the campaign goal for 2012. Individuals in our community, our friends and neighbors, are counting on our continued generosity.

Join with the generosity of your friends, family, and co-workers by giving to the Community Care Fund to ensure the necessary resources are there to make a real difference in Tompkins County to build a healthier and stronger community. Donors can also direct their gifts to United Way's targeted impact areas of care: Hunger & Food Security, the Urgent Rx Prescription Program, or student engagement efforts.

Child Care & Early Education - $90 will provide 36 children a spot in the School Readiness Program, Reading in the Lady Bug Garden, through the Dryden Community Council.
Basic Needs - $90 will provide 25 boxes of food, enough for 78 people to eat nine meals from the Caroline Food Pantry through the Brooktondale Community Center.
Crisis Services- $90 will provide online crisis counseling services for 6 youth through the Suicide Prevention & Crisis Center.
Financial Stability & Building Self-sufficiency - $90 will allow 11 participants to attend Disability Awareness Programs through the Finger Lakes Independence Center.
Youth - $90 will provide 2 homeless youth the opportunity to participate in the Youth Outreach Program at The Learning Web.
Seniors – $90 will allow 4 older adults to participate in multiple county programs through Lifelong.
Health & Environment - $90 will provide 5 free prescriptions to non-insured patients through the Urgent Rx Prescription Program.

Thank you for making a difference in someone's life today!
