Screening: Flow: For Love of Water, Thursday, March 22 @ 8 p.m., Park Hall AuditoriumContributed by Mara Alper on 03/20/12 Irena Salina’s award-winning documentary investigates what many believe to be the most important political and environmental issue of the 21st century. She builds a case against the growing privatization of the world’s dwindling freshwater supply with an unflinching focus on politics, pollution, human rights and the emergence of a domineering world water cartel. Beyond identifying the problem, “Flow” also gives viewers a look at the people and institutions providing practical solutions to the water crisis. Sponsored by Take Back the Tap/Ithaca College, SGA, Trees Institute/Roy H. Park School of Communications Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Mara Alper at malper@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-1280.
