Dr. Ellis Jones, author of the The Better World Handbook and The Better World Shopping Guide, will be visiting the Ithaca College School of Business on Monday, April 2.

Net Impact, Sustainability at Ithaca College, and the School of Business invite you to his keynote presentation, titled “Shopping for a Better World: The Role of the Ethical Consumer in the Global Economy,” on Monday, April 2, at 7 pm in Business 111.

"Net Impact is very excited to have Dr. Jones come to Ithaca to speak. His books are inspiring and make you realize that we as individuals do have the power to change the world by simply being ethical consumers. The choices we make when shopping can potentially help make the world a better place." said Lauren Goldberg, Net Impact Executive Board member.

Dr. Jones will discuss the actions that can be taken to better the economic, social, and environmental well-being of our planet.

"We are delighted to welcome Dr.Jones to the Ithaca College campus and the School of Business. His insights on ethical consumption are timely and important for our students. And we appreciate the work done by Net Impact in bringing Dr. Jones here." says Dean Mary Ellen Zuckerman.

Net Impact will be selling his books as a fundraiser before and after the event. A post-presentation book signing and Meet & Greet with Dr. Jones will also take place.

This event can count for SLI credit for those students who register for it on Orgsync.
