Julia Cozzarelli presented a paper at the Northeast Modern Language Association annual convention on March 17.  Her paper was titled "'Poscia, più che dolor, poté 'l digiuno': Translation and Interpretation in Inferno XXXIII."

The paper presented research and analysis of one of the most ambiguous and controversial lines of Dante's Inferno, a line that may or may not be interpreted as describing an act of cannibalism, and how different translations of the text reflect the individual translator's stance on the passage's interpretation.
