Turning Technologies NXT Clicker Will Replace eInstruction PRS for Fall 2012

Beginning Fall 2012, Ithaca College will support the Turning Technologies NXT student response system. Since the current eInstruction Interwrite PRS clickers are being discontinued by the vendor, ITS and a group of faculty volunteers researched options and concluded that the Turning Technologies solution is the best option. This system offers integration with Sakai and Powerpoint, is available for Macs and Windows, supports self-paced testing, and has a mobile device option.

Faculty interested in using clickers in the fall should contact the IC bookstore to order the clickers. Additional information and training opportunities regarding the new clickers will be coming soon. If you would like more information contact Marilyn Dispensa, mdispensa@ithaca.edu
