We have just learned that Democracy Now! executive producer and cohost Amy Goodman will attend the Izzy Awards ceremony in support of DN! Middle East correspondent Sharif Abdel Kouddous, who will receive the award along with the Center for Media and Democracy. CMD is represented by its executive director, Lisa Graves. She and Kouddous will each speak. The event is being aired live on Ithaca Community Radio, 88.1 FM.
