 The New York State Association for College Admission Counseling will host its 34th Annual Conference June 6-8, 2012 at Ithaca College.  The Office of Admission is looking for students to help execute this week-long event.

Responsibilities include:
• Hospitality related activities
• Set up for various events
• Assistance with off campus events on the Commons and Cornell’s golf course
• Providing directions around campus
• Some late night, early morning and/or overnight shifts required
• Pre-conference training sessions before end of academic year
• Must be available to return to campus Thursday, May 31st to begin training early on Friday, June 1st
• Post-conference wrap up through Saturday, June 9th
 

Applicants must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a team player. Working with our visitors is an essential element of this position, so applicants must understand the importance of customer service. General knowledge of Ithaca College is a plus, but not required. Prior experience with campus events is preferred (including Open Houses, Conferences, and other special events).

Employees will be compensated $8.50 per hour, plus housing and some meals provided through the term of employment. Pre-conference accommodations may be available upon request.
