Professor Gladys M. Varona-Lacey, DML, presented “La cazadora de astros: cuadro de Remedios Varo y novela de Zoé Valdés” at the XI Congreso Internacional de Literatura Hispánica in Cuzco, Perú. 

Her paper explored how Valdés integrated into her narrative the life and work of the surrealist Catalán-Mexican artist Remedios Varo.
