2012 Senior Student Show opens at the Handwerker GalleryContributed by Cheryl Kramer on 04/19/12
An opening reception will be held from 5.00–7.00 p.m. on Thursday, April 19. A Curator's Talk will be held on April 24 at 6.00 p.m. The show will be on view through May 20, and an illustrated catalogue will accompany the exhibition. All Handwerker Gallery events are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.; Thursday, 10.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.; and weekends, noon to 5.00 p.m. The gallery is closed to the public on Tuesdays but can accommodate group or class visits by appointment. The Handwerker Gallery is pleased to announce the 2012 Senior Student Show will open on April 19. Curated by Nora Kharmoudi, art history '12, the exhibition features the work of 36 students from the Department of Art and the Department of Cinema, Photography, and Media Arts. The show, which runs through May 20, highlights the diversity of contemporary art practices at Ithaca College.
