Clinton Street Closing

The City of Ithaca will close the Clinton Street Bridge for replacement beginning Monday April 30, 2012. Clinton Street will be closed to South Aurora Street with limited access to local residents and the Ithaca Police Department through November 2012.  All traffic will be detoured to Green Street and around the intersection known as the “tuning fork” to South Aurora Street.

All campus community members and visitors are encouraged to use alternative routes as well as alternative modes of transportation.  The campus sustainability team reminds the community at this time of the benefit of car sharing and riding the TCAT bus service.

Beginning Wednesday April 25, 2012 additional information regarding alternative modes of transportation will be available by visiting the Ithaca College’s sustainability website at https://www.ithaca.edu/sustainability/campusops/transporation/.

During construction staff should anticipate significant traffic delays and congestion and should allow themselves adequate time to travel into work.
