Kuumba Repertory Theatre will be hosting a performance of Marcus; or the Secret of Sweet, the conclusion to the Brother/Sister plays by Tarell Alvin McClaney. The performance will be held on May 2nd and 3rd in Dillingham Studio 02.

Make sure to come and see the exciting and controversial conclusion to the Brother/Sister plays, brought to you by the talented actors of Kuumba Repertory Theatre! Marcus; or the Secret of Sweet explores the challenges of an African American male questioning his sexual identity in a culture that will undoubtedly frown upon his curiosities. We'll be holding a recession after the show, along with a talk-back discussing the issues of race and sexuality which tie so closely to the show.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Char Manlove-Laws at cmanlov1@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.

Unfortunately there was a change in plans for the talk back; Dr.
Eversley-Bradwell cannot attend, but we are working to finalizing
another speaker for the discussion. We hope that you will make it out
and contribute to what is sure to be a lively conversation.
