Learn to direct, record and use voice for narration in cinema, television and radio productions. Voice & Narration TVR 29215 Learn the art and technique of directing, recording and using voice for narration in cinema, television and radio productions. The Park School of Communications is offering Voice & Narration, in the first block of Fall Semester 2012. Taught by Professor Patrick Winters. Students learn the theory and techniques for professional level voice work from script preparation to directing, recording and editing for Cinema, Television and Radio. The course focuses on hands-on production, aesthetics and style of voice work. Time will be spent on analysis and improvement of performance through the use of critical listening exercises as well as editing techniques to improve the recordings. Prerequisites TVR 101 or 105 This 1 credit mini-course meets on Mondays (Aug 29-Oct 17) from 3:00pm – 4:50pm in room 141 of Roy H. Park Communications.
