The Expressive Mark: Prints from Ithaca College. May 4-25, 2012Contributed by Denise Vanderburgh on 05/03/12 The Art Department at Ithaca College is pleased to host an opening reception of student/ faculty original fine art prints on Friday, May 4, from 5-8 PM. Please join us at The Ink Shop Printmaking Center to celebrate a successful year of the creative process. The Ink Shop Printmaking Center Opening Reception: Friday May 4, 5-8 PM Gallery Night This show brings together original prints by faculty and students at Ithaca College where printmaking courses are integral to the department’s visual art curriculum. Students learn a variety of printmaking and book design media including woodcuts, linocuts, silkscreen, lithography, and etching. The faculty is dedicated to teaching the art and craft of the print. The exhibit represents a wonderful culmination of their efforts. 330 E.
