The 16th-ranked Ithaca College women's track & field team will open competition at the three-day NCAA Outdoor Championships, hosted by Claremont Mudd-Scripps, Thursday. The competition runs through Saturday.

Senior Emma Dewart and junior Amanda Rissmeyer have qualified in the heptathlon; senior Ashley Dlubac will compete in the javelin throw; senior Heidi Baumbach has qualified in the 3,000-meter steeplechase; senior Jessica Hoeffner will compete in the hammer throw; and junior Jenn Randall is competing in the 800-meter run. Ithaca's 1,600-meter relay team -- freshman Harmony Graves, senior Becca Coffman, Randall and Dewart -- has also qualified.

Ithaca has produced a total of 86 all-Americans since 1986 – 38 indoor and 48 outdoor.
