At its May meeting, the Ithaca College Board of Trustees granted promotions to four HSHP faculty members.

The following faculty member was promoted from clinical associate professor to clinical full professor:
Department of Physical Therapy
Barbara Belyea, who received her D.P.T. from the University of Montana and her M.S. and B.S. from Ithaca College.
This is the first Clinical Full Professorship granted at IC.

The following faculty members were promoted from associate professor to full professor:
Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies
Linda Heyne, who received her Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Minnesota and her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Department of Physical Therapy
Jeffery Houck, who received his Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Iowa and his B.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia.

The following faculty member was promoted from instructor to assistant professor:
Department of Recreation and Leisure Studies
Christopher Pelchat, who received his Ph.D. from the University of Idaho and his M.Ed. and B.A. from Eastern Washington University.
