Help pair students with older adults in the community! Project Generations, an intergenerational friendly visiting program, is looking for motivated, dedicated student leaders to become involved in the fall 2012 executive board. Partnered with Tompkins County Office for the Aging and Cornell University, the organization pairs students with an older adult in need of assistance in the Ithaca area with whom they visit for an hour each week. Volunteers help fulfill the seniors’ personal and functional needs through providing companionship, mental stimulation, and/or light housework. The position to be filled will be responsible for corresponding closely with the Tompkins County Office for the Aging.
