Check out an Olympic sport! Visit and observe a rowing team demonstration and practice.Contributed by Becky Robinson on 09/05/12 Come and see rowing in the A & E Center pool between 4 and 6pm, weekday afternoons, through Wednesday, September 12. Men’s and women’s varsity crew are still looking for prospects. No previous rowing experience is necessary. Men will be rowing Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Women will be rowing Tuesday and Thursday. Not inspired yet? Then come and meet Ithaca College’s recent Olympic gold medalist, Megan Musnicki, class of 2005, fresh from rowing to victory for the USA at the Games in London. She’ll be at the brand new IC Tallman Rowing Center this Saturday, September 8, 11:30am – 12:30pm. There’s never been a more exciting time to join the team! This sport will teach you a new skill, get you into top physical condition, send you out onto Cayuga Lake, and offer an opportunity to travel and compete on a varsity level. If you can't attend a session listed above, contact a coach at iccrew@ithaca.edu or stop by the crew office, #140A, A. & E. Center, before September 12. Call us at 274-1266. This is an opportunity to get into a life-changing activity. Opportunity knocks!
