If you’re looking for an exciting and constructive way to spend your Fall Break, then join the fall break trip to Sky Meadow State Park in White Post, Virginia! The Virginia Parks and Recreation Department has invited Ithaca College students help with trail maintenance this fall! We will help beautify a place where tens-of-thousands of vacationers spend their time every year. We will stay in the new and improved bunkhouses at Sky Meadow, and spend part of our day on Saturday exploring the area! The fall break trip will run from October 18 – October 21. Transportation is provided, and registration will open on Monday, September 10. Students can register for the trip here. There is a $50.00 (USD) registration fee for all participants who are *NOT* certified to drive Ithaca College vehicles. Registration fees cover *ALL* trip expenses. Students should talk to Assistant Director of Community Service, Don Austin, in the event that the registration fee is unmanageable. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Don Austin at austin@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
