The IC School of Music has added a new course for any interested student on campus- a fourth jazz lab ensemble which meets on Thursday nights from 8:00 to 9:00 PM in Presser Rehearsal Hall. Students from any major who play saxophone, trumpet, trombone, or bass and are interested in learning more about the jazz idiom are welcome to join this new and growing ensemble! Students can sign up for the course for credit: Jazz Lab Ensembles CRN 23885 MUEN 11900 Section 4. Bill Tiberio, who directs the Thursday Night Jazz Lab Band will be teaching this new section as well. Please e-mail him with any questions at wtiberio@gmail.com, or cell 585-781-4701.
