Auditions for "8" the play will take place on in one of the meeting rooms in Campus Center (TBA check here for details on location http://www.facebook.com/events/422748691095648/
Monday September 17 5:30-7:30 pm
Tuesday September 18 7-9 pm
Expect to be there for around 30 minutes.

If you have a resume, please bring it, but it's not required. If you have a 1 minute contemporary monologue already prepared, that would be great; otherwise, we'll give you a side. These will be REALLY informal auditions, just to see who you are and what you can do- we'd like to involve as many people as possible.

Since this will be a staged reading, not a full production, this is a much smaller rehearsal commitment than an average show on campus.

"8" is a docudrama by Dustin Lance Black (Academy Award winner for screenplay of "Milk") comprised totally of primary documents and true events from the California Supreme Court case challenging the passage of Proposition 8.

The performance of "8" will take place on October 25th in Emerson Suites.

If you have any questions, feel free to email us at iccreatedequal@gmail.com. Huzzah for marriage equality!

Hmm... I would like to audition for an amazing staged reading and opportunity to support marriage equality... | 0 Comments |
