Students Active For Ending Rape is a proactive organization on campus that strives to end rape, victim-blaming, and "rape culture" (societal attitudes that condone and normalize sexual violence) through education and raising awareness. We meet every Tuesday at 7 pm, and will be having our second meeting tonight (Tuesday, September 18) in Friends 209 (returners - note the room change!). Come to our meeting to learn what we're about and see if you would like to join our board! Join us any or every week to engage in a discussion on where rape culture might exist in the media and in common societal attitudes — and what can be done to change it. Questions? Comments?
