The Alumni Pulse Survey was launched on Wednesday, September 19, via email to 25,000 Ithaca College alumni. The invitation to participate in the survey comes from Eduventures directly with the subject line, "Ithaca College wants to hear from you." In case you get any questions from alumni about the origin or legitimacy of the survey invitation, we thought this might be helpful to know. Eduventures is a Boston-based research and consulting firm with practitioner expertise in across all areas of higher education, including fund-raising, enrollment management, continuing education, online education, and teacher and administration preparation. The firm's data-driven approach and deep experience in research design and methodologies -- coupled with its perspective from working with over 350 institutions of higher education nationwide -- are reasons why Ithaca chose them to help us with this project. More about the Survey The Alumni Pulse Survey is Eduventures' annual survey of alumni nationwide. Its analysis of Ithaca College's alumni survey will include observations about how Ithaca alumni differ from alumni at other institutions. This information will help Ithaca College better shape our communications and programming to meet the needs of both IC and its alumni.
