A film by Cathy Lee Crane, associate professor in the Department of Cinema, Photography, and Media Arts, was selected for the International Panorama at the Festival du Nouveau Cinema of Montreal.

Her film, Pasolini's Last Words (2012), combines staged and archival material in an elegiac essay, which considers Pier Paolo Pasolini's brutal murder in 1975 alongside of the texts he published or left unfinished during his last year. This experimental biography documents the final words of one of the most important filmmakers of the 20th century.

The festival runs October 10-21 and will feature two screenings of Crane's film. Ithaca College alumni Amanda Setton has a role in the film.
