Sean Eversley Bradwell, assistant professor in the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity, gave the keynote at the 30th Annual Chemung County Human Relations breakfast at the Elmira Country Club. The program included WAY Award Presentations; named in honor of the former Executive Director of the Commission, Ernest Hemingway, Jr., and have been awarded by the Commission since 1997, to honor those persons, employers or volunteer groups that have made a substantial contribution to promoting diverse social, cultural and ethnic perspectives that enrich and expand understanding among all citizens in Chemung County.
