Please be advised that this week's on-campus screenings of the PBS documentary, Half the Sky, are being rescheduled, as last night's screening was canceled due to the weather. The new schedule is below.

Half the Sky: Part One
Tuesday, October 30, 2012
(TONIGHT)
7:00-9:00 p.m.
Textor Hall 102

Half the Sky: Part Two

These screenings are being held in conjunction with the Peggy R. Williams Difficult Dialogues Symposium, taking place this Thursday, November 1, at 7:30 p.m. in Ford Hall. Sheryl WuDunn, the first Asian American to win a Pulitzer Prize, will discuss her book, Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide, and engage us in a difficult-to-digest dialogue focused on such issues as forced prostitution and sex slavery among women and girls. A book signing and reception will follow the program.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact MaryAnn Taylor at mataylor@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3113. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
