Pathways...Tuesday...11/6

Contributed by LeBron Rankins on 10/30/12

The next Pathways training for students is Tuesday, Nov. 6, 6-7pm, in Textor 102.

Pathways is a mental health crisis intervention and suicide prevention program offered by Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). The goal of Pathways is to reduce the incidence of crises by building knowledge, confidence and skills to help you:

  • identify a potential mental health crisis.
  • initiate a conversation with someone at risk.
  • ask directly about suicidal thoughts.
  • make referrals to appropriate resources.

The session is open to all students.  Those students interested in earning SLI credit should sign up through the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs,

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact LeBron Rankins at lrankins@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3136. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
