This Saturday, November 3, Ithaca College will dedicate the new Robert B. Tallman Rowing Center down on Cayuga Inlet. The magnificent new facility replaces the Haskell Davidson Boathouse, which was torn down last year after nearly four decades of service to IC crew.

We'll start the day on Saturday with the Freeman Cup intrasquad race at 9:00 a.m., followed by the formal dedication of the facility starting at 11:00 a.m.

From the IC campus, follow Route 96B (South Aurora Street) downtown. Take a left on Buffalo Street and cross over the inlet bridge, then take a right on Route 89 (Taughannock Boulevard). Park along the inlet on the right side of the road or in Cass Park.

For the dedication ceremony, van shuttles will run to and from Cass Park, located on Route 89, from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The pick-up and drop-off point will be located in the parking lot nearest the baseball fields, marked as fields 6, 7, and 8 on this map. Please note there is no available parking at the rowing center.
